Something has been missing here in Tallahassee. Good ole' local BBQ served with a smile and priced so you can come as much as you want. No servers here. Just come on in, pick yer meat, pick yer sides, pick yer bread, get your drink and have yer food in minutes.Headshot of Piggy's Pitmaster, Brian Rowe

You just need to talk with Piggy's owner, Brian Rowe, for 5 minutes to realize just how passionate he is for BBQ. He'll introduce you to different types of flavor, explain what makes a great brisket taste soo good, what regions of the country are known for what types of sauce, and why ribs that "fall off the bone" actually aren't as good as ribs that stay together until you take a bite and then fall off clean in your mouth.

Funny part about Piggy's...the restaurant was actually never intended.

Brian had reopened his BBQ catering business just over a year ago with legions of satisfied diners asking "where is your restaurant?". After tons of rave reviews and a loyal following, he decided to open Piggy's BBQ on Capital Circle (just north of Miccosukee - across from University GMC). Piggy's was modeled after Brian's catering efforts with a buffet style service line.

Taste us just once and you'll be sayin': Best BBQ I've ever tasted."

About Piggy

Piggy headshotWhat can we say about our mascot: He's a pig in every sense of the word.  It's not his fault that he loves everything we serve...we have lots of patrons who tell us they do too.  He does have a bit of a flaw that has caused him to lose quite a few friends on the farm though.  Ya see, Piggy is a cannibal.  He'll tell you first hand: "Is it sooo wrong to savor a fallen friend?"  Can you blame him though?  I mean our smoked, pulled pork and d'lish BBQ ribs are kind of hard for anyone to turn down.
